I just received my A-2 2000 flight jacket and I love it. The fit is perfect and it looks great. I’ve been dreaming about one of these since I was a kid watching all the good ol’ WWII movies. I love the additions you put into the 2000 model. The extra pockets add so much to this jacket and it still has that classic A-2 look, feel and smell. Oh yeah, that smell. Just a note to let you know I’ve received my U.S. Wings A-2 today. I am very pleased with the A-2 in fit and finish! It is superb to the last detail, and I’m exceptionally pleased with my purchase.
I had purchased an A-2 from one of your competitors several years ago and have since (fortunately?) outgrown it. It lead to this purchase from U.S. Wings. The prices were comparable, but the U.S. Wings jacket, an up-scale A-2, is superior. Thanks for a really nice product!

I just wanted to say that it’s been a pleasure dealing with you folks. I bought A2 and G1 Signature Series jackets a couple of years ago and they surpassed my expectations in quality. I recently bought the Wings of Gold G1 and thought it was awesome but I had a problem with a defective zipper. I also purchased a WEP jacket but requested a return because I didn’t care for the short cut of it. I contacted customer service about both issues and was treated with extreme courtesy and both issues were taken care of immediately. I just wanted to comment because this level of service is rarely seen any more and I sincerely appreciate it. You have a customer for life!!!

A fellow military collector from Cuyahoga Falls sent me the newspaper article about you, outstanding! I also wish to compliment you on your A-2s. I purchased one a number of years ago at an Ohio Gun Collector’s Meeting at Brookpark. I was fortunate enough to meet a gent who specialized in making the leather CBI patches and bloodchits also at that meeting… all are multi-piece leather. These aren’t the “junk” pieces that are readily available on a certain computer auction service. I dressed your jacket with the Chinese Flag bloodchit — CBI and Army Air Corps SSI — a killer 23 F.G. Chest Patch. The compliments that I’ve received on that jacket… and they are practically all from WW2 Vets. Please accept that as the highest compliment concerning your product.

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful job you guys are doing. I know to most people internet businesses are faceless groups of people that get little thanks from the customer base as most are one time customers. I believe that hard working people need to be told when they do outstanding work, no matter if it is face to face or not. So I thought I would drop this message as I’m truly impressed again with your company’s work. I know that I’m probably just one of the little people compared to some of your customers, but felt I needed to do this.
I bought my first A-2 Horsehide jacket years ago and it has been around the world with me. So I put on my Christmas list the 1943 Repro B15 and my wife got it. Here in Augusta Georgia I thought this would make a nice winter jacket. Again I found that nothing beats the quality of good ol’ American workmanship. The jacket was of the highest quality of anything that I’ve seen and is better made than the real B15 which I have in my collection. I started to read the “Life of a Warrior” the first thing and found I could not put it down. I found the story a true American success story with a true American Hero showing that faith and hard work will still make one successful in this country. Most of these type books try to be too detailed and not enough straight to the point. David Hack is a true American hero along with his other brothers in arms past and present. God Bless all of you and thank you much for making my Christmas great.

After wearing it a few times around the house and inspecting it over and over I decided it was definitely the quality leather jacket I have been looking for the past two years! I wore it outside the house for the first time this evening and immediately received a compliment about it from a good friend. The jacket feels great. I debated between it and the vintage lambskin, but I’m glad I chose to break-in a new one myself…
