The golden age of insignia & pinup art was during WWII between 1939 and 1945, and our  “nose art” artist Jim Harley is dedicated to keeping the memories, tradition & spirit of that bygone era alive by offering the most accurate representation of that era in his artwork. A lifelong student & enthusiast of WWII, Jim has channeled his amazing talent into creating nostalgic works of art that honor the heroes of this era. In addition to being an outstanding artist with decades of experience and clients worldwide, Jim is a former pilot for the Collings Foundation and flew B-17s, B-24s, B-25s, & P-51 Mustangs.

Jim will be painting historic & custom Nose Art onto leather jackets and leather patches using only the highest quality paint which will never chip or peel, ensuring that your leather jacket or patch will become a personalized handpainted masterpiece and a treasured heirloom.

Custom handpainted jackets are a collector’s item and a great way to show off WWII nose art, a company logo, or any other design you specify on your leather jacket. Customers can select a jacket from US Wings or send us one of your own for painting.

Contact us with your artwork – lani@USWings.com. We will send you a quote. Fill out and send the Custom Hand Painted Jacket Form with the jacket. You can purchase one our jackets or you can have your current jacket painted.

Purchasing a jacket from our site: We recommend to try the jacket on before painting.

Please note: The painting process can take up to 4 – 6 weeks to complete, depending on our current traffic. The finished image may differ slightly on the finished product due to the type of jacket and the jacket size.
