Made from supple and grainy aged New Zealand sheepskin leather. Leather gives this jacket the rugged & battle-worn look of a A-2 from WWII. Although it may look like a hand-me-down from a WWII veteran, this jacket has the fit & functionality of a modern A-2. Includes side-entry hand warmer pockets and two interior pockets, not included on WWII-era A-2 jackets. Hand painted by Jim Harley in the USA. Limited Edition A-2!

Artwork Features and History:
Jacket is a tribute to the crew of the B-17G Flying Fortress “Heaven Sent” and was custom hand-painted by our resident artist Jim Harley on our 50 Mission™ Sheepskin A-2 Jacket. The plane and its crew were part of the 100th Bomb Group that was stationed out of Thorpe Abbotts airfield in England during WWII. This jacket is modeled after one that’s enshrined in the 8th Air Force Museum near Savannah, Georgia.
