Today I had the pleasure of visiting the US Wings store in Hudson OH, and meeting in person Sgt. David Hack and Mike!
I am from France, I owe a Bison A2 for 12 years, which remains in perfect state even though I have constantly worn it every winter. Since I had a unique occasion to come to Cleveland for work, I took advantage of my trip to stop by US Wings to buy a new Buffalo A2 (long). My old A2 will be passed to my daughter, who loves this jacket ever since she was small: she has borrowed it from me a few times and has always asked me to give it to her.
Sgt. Hack and Mike, many thanks for the pleasant chat, congratulations for your A2 which is a masterpiece – can’t think of a better leather jacket! Today you made two A2 fans (my daughter and I) super happy!

I want to recognize “Rosita” in Customer Service. She is the epitome of the job title … customer “service.”
I sent my 40 year old Avirex horsehide A-2 to US Wings to have the epaulets repaired / altered. Rosita answered all of my questions and concerns and made sure the job was done right.
This is a copy of my email thanking her for the good work:
“Hi Rosita,
I received my repaired / altered horsehide A-2 on Friday afternoon!
Well done !
I am very happy with the result !
I’ve put up with those epaulets for years and I didn’t even wear the jacket the last ten years because of the torn left epaulet. Now the tear is repaired and both epaulets lay flat on the shoulder. I am once again wearing my A-2 with pride … just like I did when I flew with it 40 years ago.
